If I were close by I would be there in a heart beat.  However, I am in Baltimore.  One thing you might try and that is to search the web for woodturning clubs in your area.  If you contact them, if they are like the one I belong to, they will broadcast the information about the wood and those interested will contact you.  It is my habit to always give a bowl to the people who give me wood.  The really prime areas of the wood are in the crotches and around the base of the stump.  Good luck.
